Mistakes to Avoid in MDCAT
Many MDCAT as spirants commit mistakes in their MDCAT exam that affect their final score adversely. Here, I am pointing out these mistakes and also giving tips to avoid them.
Many students think that their preparation would become much better if they attempt a lot of practice tests. However, in reality this demotivates them. Attempting a lot of tests with same preparation will give them almost similar marks in all the tests. These kind of results will make them believe that they are not doing any better even when they are putting in their utmost efforts. This will greatly demotivate them.
2. Don’t Take Unbearable Tension
Taking healthy tension for your MDCAT is good as it speeds up your progress but most students harm themselves as well as their results by taking far too tension. Such students end up crying and giving up because they are unable to focus, with a lot of tension in their head.
3. Avoid Social Pressure
Social pressure to perform well in the entrance test will lessen the students capability. Thus, it has an opposite effect. Pressure, either from society or from your family, to score high is not healthy. It will hinder your capabilities. If you are facing such a pressure from society, just ignore it because society never silences. And if it is from family, then talk frankly with your parents, tell them your situation. They will surely understand you because they are your parents and they love you. Next, they will always support you.
4. Don’t Compare Yourself With Others
Comparison is itself a fatal thing. Healthy comparison should be done as it boosts up your morale. But comparing yourself and your study routine too much with some other students may leave you stranded in the middle of the bridge. Your personality will fall in many complexities and your confidence in yourself will greatly decrease. This is not good for your final score of the entrance test.
5. Avoid Cramming
Cramming can play an effective role in marks cleaning in your intermediate exams but using this same technique in your entry test also is quite dangerous period even in your also preparation for entry test you do not change your method of study it can be harmful for your entry test the negative effects of cramming in your entry test is that you would even fail to understand the question examiner would be asking would be purely conceptual and on the other hand if you have the so called planning preparation you would probably fail to give the right answer.
6. Don’t Take it Easy
I always tell students to do not overburden themselves with the tension of entry test as it will highly affect them into a capacity. But the extreme of any side is not good or healthy. Do not take your entry test far too much easy otherwise you will get a big set back. Do not lag in your studies at all do not waste your time and do not think that you can achieve something without working hard enough for it. Take necessary tension and do necessary preparation God willing you will achieve what you desire.
